We have a new laundry/mud room! The blank wall at one end is the perfect place to hang a quilt. I made this, my 4th double wedding ring with no intention of what I would do with it when it was finished. I just loved the center fabric, with sunflowers and goldfinches, and I wanted to try the technique I'd seen on Pinterest of alternating light and dark fabrics in the rings. We chose the wall color and floor tile without any conscious connection to the quilt, but they go together perfectly. Many thanks to my husband for his great ideas and carpentry skill. He built the bench and cupboards and installed the hanging racks. I love doing laundry now!
