Seascape

I was inspired by a quilt I saw on Pinterest to attempt this new technique; strip piecing. The quilt front and pillow were made entirely from my fabric stash, and for the back I purchased a beautiful swirly green batik. The front was pieced on the old Kenmore, and I finished it just before attending the quilt show in Manchester, NH where I was inspired to purchase my new Jenome sewing machine. I quilted it by machine, and even attempted a bit of free motion quilting. Using the walking foot was life changing!
